I live in Riga, with my high-school sweetheart-turned-husband, Arthur, and our two cats - Starlord and Stormy.

I’ve always been a romantic at heart. At least as far as I could remember.

When other kids went out and played football, I stayed inside and played pretend wedding with my barbie dolls. That was very much inspired by the Wedding Planner with J-Lo, which is one of my all-time favorite movies. Whenever I eat M&Ms I remember the scene where Steve tells Mary he only eats the brown ones, because they are “healthier”.

I was using Pinterest for inspiration as soon as I got on the internet (and found out what Pinterest was). I never thought that one day I’d get to do all things Pinterest for a living!

I made a variety of dream wedding boards before I even met my now husband. And before that, I was using Pinterest for character inspiration for my books and drawing tutorials for when I was sure I was going to be an artist.

As you can see, creativity has always been an important value to me, so when I was stuck in a corporate job, that definitely was a one-way ticket to burn-out land.

I’m grateful for the burn out though because that got me to realize I was never meant to fit in. I was never meant to work a corporate job. I was always meant to live a life of creativity and freedom.

So when I discovered I could be on Pinterest as a job, you bet your bottom I was ready for it!
